KESCo MD Listens to Entrepreneurs, Resolves Power Issues at Special Camp in Kanpur
Over 100 complaints addressed; green initiatives also promoted during the outreach program
Kanpur, July 16, 2025 (Telescope Today): In a direct and solution-driven engagement with the city’s industrial stakeholders, the Kanpur Electricity Supply Company (KESCo) organized a Special Consumer Power Solution Camp at the Copo State Industrial Area in Dada Nagar. The camp was dedicated to addressing electricity-related grievances of local entrepreneurs and business owners, who form a vital part of Kanpur’s economic landscape.
KESCo Managing Director Samuel Paul N personally led the initiative, listening to concerns and promising prompt action. “Ensuring uninterrupted and quality power for our industries is a top priority,” he stated during the session, adding that the company is actively working to upgrade infrastructure and fast-track complaint redressals.
The event was inaugurated with a traditional welcome by Industrial Association President Vijay Kapoor, who praised the MD’s hands-on approach and KESCo’s commitment to building trust through face-to-face dialogue.
Focus on Grievance Redressal and Sustainability
While the main focus remained on solving power issues—over 100 complaints were resolved on the spot—KESCo also took the opportunity to promote environmental responsibility. In a symbolic yet impactful move, MD Samuel Paul N led a tree plantation drive, underscoring the importance of balancing industrial progress with ecological well-being.
“Every citizen should plant trees. It’s our responsibility to revive the green revolution for a healthier tomorrow,” he said, encouraging participants to contribute to a more sustainable future.

Director Rakesh Varshney, present as a special guest, joined the plantation activity and echoed the call for sustainability and civic participation in environmental preservation.

The outreach camp witnessed the participation of key business and civic figures, including Rajesh Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Dhananjay Singh, Vikas Verma, Akhilesh Kumar, Manish Kumar, Satpal Singh, Sunil Kumar, Anil Ahuja, Vivek, Pankaj Kumar, and Himanshu Sahu—all of whom expressed appreciation for the KESCo team’s proactive engagement and responsiveness.
Industrial Association President Vijay Kapoor lauded the initiative, saying, “Such direct interactions foster mutual understanding and help build a reliable partnership between power providers and entrepreneurs.”
Moving Toward an Empowered Industrial Ecosystem
The success of the camp has been recognized as a model approach for other utility providers to emulate. By combining service resolution with environmental awareness, KESCo has reaffirmed its role as a dependable ally in Kanpur’s industrial growth story.
With improved communication channels, infrastructure upgrades, and a renewed focus on sustainability, KESCo is set to continue supporting the city’s business community with reliable, eco-conscious power solutions.
